Being an Indian Entrepreneur — 5 Things Kunwer Sachdev Told IIT Bombay
Invited to speak with students at IIT Bombay, Kunwer Sachdev distilled his experience into five things about being an Indian entrepreneur.
The themes echoed his whole career: build a genuinely differentiated product and protect it; don't wait for perfect conditions — start; treat customers and dealers as partners; be willing to fail and learn fast; and back yourself when others doubt the idea. Coming from a founder who went from ₹10,000 to a ₹1,200-crore company, the advice carried weight.
It is one more example of Kunwer Sachdev's long-running role as a mentor to India's founders — a role he continues today.
