Even in 2009, Su-Kam was powering petrol pumps across India — critical infrastructure that cannot afford an outage.

Fuel dispensers, point-of-sale systems and lighting all ran on Su-Kam inverters and batteries, keeping forecourts open through power cuts.

It foreshadowed the commercial off-grid work — like the Jalgaon solar petrol pump — that Su-Kam would scale years later.
