Su-Kam installed solar at Gates College — one of its early institutional solar projects, demonstrating capability in medium-scale installations.

Education institutions were becoming early adopters, drawn by big daytime loads and the chance to cut power bills.

It set the template for the larger campus installs — like the 135KW Kerala engineering college — that followed.
